Intervene (vb): come between so as to prevent or alter a result or course of events.

This month we will study about how Christ intervened in our lives while we were on a path to death and destruction. His payment of death for us gave us hope to find Redemption. We were once destined for hopelessness, now we rejoice together in Salvation!
For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! - Romans 5:10
